I Transform Things into Other Things

"Can you hem this for me?" "No, I'm not a seamstress (Nonsonounasarta)." The name was born from the most common answer to the most frequent question.

Founded in 2022, the brand rebels against fast fashion and mass-conformity, putting unique, low-impact pieces back at the center of the wardrobe. Our logo, the Joker card, was inspired by an illustration by Manuela Ratti—the wild card of the fashion deck.

Upcycling isn't just recycling; it's restoring dignity to the "imperfect" cast-offs of daily life. Through layering or total deconstruction, I give vintage garments a new identity. The uniqueness is the common thread. Every drop is in continuous evolution based on demand: pieces are sold as one-of-a-kind or made to order in our Milanese atelier.

I Transform Things into Other Things

Since 2022

The first true Nonsonounasarta project on social platforms. The goal is to transform vintage clothing—regardless of type or gender—into entirely new garments.

A skirt that used to be a jacket, a pajama set born from a shirt—everything looks like it was woven from scratch. Leather jackets become two-piece sets, polos transform into dresses, men's elegant suits adapt to femininity to enhance it.

Highlight: Custom upcycled look for Valentina Pegorer at Sanremo 2024.

Jammin Denim

Nonsonounasarta + Abbiocco Design — Firenze Rocks, June 2024

Raw material takes center stage. In collaboration with studio Abbiocco Design, Nonsonounasarta participated as an exhibitor at the two-day festival organized by Live Nation in Florence.

Old jeans were reincarnated into bucket hats, customized live during the festival. An interactive experience where the audience and designers collaborated to create one-of-a-kind headwear.

Save a Pair of Jeans, Adopt a Hat

Summer 2024 — in collaboration with @visitcupramarittima

Adriatic "dolce vita" meets upcycled denim. This campaign blended the nostalgia of vintage umbrellas and rowboats with colorful denim hats adorned with ropes and pins.

Because even in the lazy haze of summer, there's always a reason to wear something unique.

Pimp My Felpa

December 2024

Giving a second life to deadstock fabrics and worn-out hoodies. Through textural layering and raw geometric cuts, each piece becomes a tactile collage.

Hand-stitched in our Milanese atelier, these aren't just sweatshirts—they are unique wearable artifacts.
